Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as a working standard, and to keep improving the site as it grows.

What we have done

• Semantic, well-structured HTML with a clear heading order.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
• Respect for the "reduce motion" system setting — animations are disabled when you ask your device to limit motion.
• Responsive layouts that work from large screens down to phones.
• Colour and type chosen for legibility, with attention to contrast.

Known limitations

Errata is a small, evolving pre-launch site, and some details may fall short of our goal. The visual "correction spine" on the homepage is decorative and hidden from assistive technology; no information is lost without it. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us.
